Renaissance woman and content guru Deborah Leeson is a major working force behind the Teacher's Lounge. As the Lounge Editor, she continually provides the teachers and visitors of MusicStaff.com with provocatively written and reported articles and useful guides that target the needs and interests of the modern music teacher.

Deborah Leeson Deborah is a graduate of the University of North Texas State with a degree in Music Education. She has taught elementary music for twenty five years and has recently completed on her Masters of Science, in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. Deborah has performed with the Houston Grand Opera, and under the direction of the late Anton Dorati, former conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra. She has also sung on several children's albums and has performed in Europe in five different countries. Some of Deborah's stage work includes, Rizzo, in Grease, Martha, in The Secret Garden and Nancy, in Oliver. She is the co-producer of two international blues albums. Currently, Deborah is pursuing her Doctorate at Nova Southeastern University in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. Deborah's hope is to bring to this new millennium, innovative ideas and programs for teaching in the field of education through the use of technology and multimedia.
