Personal Statement

I really enjoy building-up and encouraging students in their all around playing experience. I cover all aspects of playing some of which are breathing, tongue placement, proper embouchure, flexibility, scales, articulation, range, etudes, classical and jazz styles, and jazz improvisation. Within reason, I will design a routine to fit your available practice time. I have also written an exercise book for Beginning,Intermediate and Advanced students called Fundamental Flexibility Studies.

Education/Training

1983-1990, Private study with internationally reknown trumpet teacher, Claude Gordon. I also completed Claude Gordon's certified trumpet teaching course.
